Glen, one of Subo's founders, has a Canadian/Filipino heritage. One of his fondest and earliest memories of childhood, was his Mum feeding him and saying the word subo over and over again.
subo (pronounced [sü-bo] or [sue-bow]) is a Tagalog (Filipino) word meaning mouthful; further subo-an means to feed.
